I’d like to start off this letter by saying thank you for all the kindness, professionalism, and exceptional work that everyone at the practice has shown me. From start up until my current point in the recovery process, I have been helped along the way in every way possible. The staff at the practice is very kind. The environment is very comfortable and welcoming! Amber Hinman facilitated so much for me and I am so grateful. Despite being a very welcoming and kind hearted person, she aided me along my journey and helped me with any concerns that I had. The medical staff at the clinic are all very professional and considerate. They always made sure that I was comfortable with anything that I was doing and I loved the whole experience. Now when it comes to the actual surgery, Dr. Eric Barker did a phenomenal job! I had spent over a year looking for what I considered to be the “perfect surgeon.” With absolute confidence, I claim Dr. Barker as the perfect surgeon. From start to finish, he was always professional, respectful of my decisions with what I was looking for as results go for the surgery. He explained the expectations and process of the journey ahead of me with precise detail. Apart from that, he is a very kind and high energy person which builds more rapport with him and the patient. In this case, the patient, myself, was really impressed with the work that everyone at this establishment has done, and continues to do. Thank you all for everything!

I am so thankful that I found Peak Plastic Surgery Center! I came to them with a large amount of excess skin from having had gastric bypass back in 2010. I have lost a total of 200lbs, so the loose skin was significant. I spoke with Amber over the phone and she asked what my areas of concern were. I let her know and she explained what my options would be. We set up a consultation appointment so I could speak with Dr. Barker to find out what his suggestions were on how to proceed. When speaking with Dr. Barker in person, I felt like he genuinely cared about me as a person. He very patiently answered all of my questions and did a very thorough examination. He let me know what his suggestion was on what procedures to do and I had a surgery date set right then and there! I underwent a fleur de lis abdominoplasty and a breast augmentation with a lift. The suregery went as smoothly as one could possibly hope for! Dr. Barker ended up removing 11lbs of loose skin from my body! Every time I come in for a follow up appointment, I am excited to see everyone and they are genuinely excited to see me. I never thought I’d be able to have the surgeries I needed to complete my weight loss journey, but Dr. Barker and the entire team at Peak Plastic Surgery Center made it happen and I couldn’t be happier! I am eternally grateful for everything they have done for me and for the friendships I’ve developed with the team. Choosing Peak Plastic Surgery Center has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Wonderful experience here, all employees – from the doctor to the nurses to the front desk staff to the financial liaison – were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Didn’t feel like they were ever trying to “upsell” me, as has been the case at other places especially when it comes to elective procedures. Overall, very happy with my experience from start to finish and would definitely choose them again in the future.
This has been a long journey of losing weight and feeling confident in my body. I interviewed several doctors to get a “mommy makeover “, and no one made me feel more safe and heard than Dr. Barker! Throughout the entire process, he and his team listened to every concern I had, gave me the information that I needed to make the decisions that made most sense for me. During the day of surgery when I woke up, I felt amazing. I’ve been put under before, but this was definitely different. Dr Barker and his anesthesiologist have figured out the perfect equation for making you feel good when you wake up, which included being alert, not dizzy nor nauseous. The pain management program that they put you on is perfect and was only really needed for the first few days after the surgery. I’m four weeks postop from a breast augmentation and lift, and a circumferential abdominalplasty and the results are phenomenal. Dr Barker really is an artist at what he does, and his approach is very individualized for the best results!
Megan at Peak Plastic Surgery Center is the best I have found! I highly recommend her for any aesthetic treatment. She is very educated and will explain in detail why she recommends a treatment (even placement and units for Botox for example), or even why she doesn’t recommend a specific treatment. She is the best nurse injector I have found and I’ve tried many.
When you think of mommy make-over you think of the possibilities. You want that body you once had and the confidence to be able fit into that bathing suit you once could wear before your beautiful babies. Well Dr Eric Barker and his team were so amazing and caring. Dr Barker takes his time and explains everything to you and will not lie to you but give you the honest answers. He will have give you back that body you once had. Pain you think of ? none I didn’t experience any pain. I stayed on the schedule they gave me to keep my pain under control. He makes it so your pain is under control. His team guides you through the whole process and you are never alone. It’s like a little family of support helping you through this journey of transformation into the new you. I am loving my new body and feel like a teenager again! I am looking forward to my next surgery.

I am not a plastic surgery ‘type’ of person. I don’t wear make-up, I don’t color my hair, I do wear sunscreen (EVERY DAY! JUST DO IT), but I have never wanted to change something about myself badly enough to consider surgery. Surgery is a huge deal! Except my breasts; giant things that have always been in the way. Heavy, pulling on my neck and back. Cumbersome. I live in humid South Texas and was getting skin irritations, etc. It was time to think about surgical changes. Being in my tiny town, you don’t let anyone touch you with a knife…so I knew I would be traveling to find a professional. My family lives in Denver, so I could stay with them for post-op for a few weeks. In my initial research, I called 15 doctors in the Denver area, consulted in person with 3 and ultimately chose Dr. Barker. Why? He listened to and answered EVERY QUESTION and never looked at his watch. His staff is AHmazing! Truly. I felt welcomed from the moment they picked up the phone. The practice manager, Amber, she answered every question I had, more than once. She didn’t pressure me to schedule. It took me 6 months to actually get the reduction on the books. I never felt rushed. And she made me laugh while telling me everything I needed to know. If there was something she didn’t know (rare), she always followed up within a few days, usually the same day. Dr. Barker is very professional. He is a plastic surgeon, and he is very confident in himself, but that’s EXACTLY what I wanted and needed. One of us has to be right? I was a nervous mess. I never felt like a dollar sign or a piece of meat or that my time wasn’t just as valuable as his, and he knows my name. How many doctors know your name? He has a good humor and he knows when to use it and when to keep it very straight. I am grateful for that. I’m two weeks post-op on my reduction and lift with liposuction and in the grouchy stage of healing. He’s willing to see me for a few months via telehealth and is completely on board with me leaving Denver for a few months. I also know that if I need him, he will be there, as well as the rest of the staff. If you’ve gotten this far, he’s the doctor (and office) for you. You’re nervous and apprehensive if you’ve read my entire monologue. But… Trust me. You’ve found the right hands. I can’t recommend Dr. Barker and his team enough.

Megan is an artist and a magician! I would give her more stars if I could! She is so skilled in helping to fight the aging process. Most importantly, she has made me look and feel more like myself, not overdone or like a caricature. Not only is she a skilled injectionist, she is brilliant with lasers (in my opinion lasers are time erasers). I’ve found working with her to be very comfortable as she is so kind and thoughtful. She is definitely my go to person when it comes to all of my skincare and anti-aging needs.
